Double Pedestal Desks

Double pedestal desks are the classic freestanding office desk: one work surface with a drawer pedestal on each side and nothing attached to the back or the ends, so the desk can sit against a wall or float in the middle of a room. Every desk here is sold with its two pedestals as one item, from Offices to Go and CorpDesign.

The pedestals come two ways. Double hanging pedestals are two box/file units (a shallow supply drawer over a deep file drawer) that hang from the desk top and stay off the floor. Double full pedestals are a box/box/file unit on one side and a file/file unit on the other, standing to the floor, for the most drawer space. Every pedestal locks with its own key, and the Offices to Go desks have two black grommets for routing cables through the top.

Offices to Go makes eight: 60 x 30, 66 x 30 and 71 x 30 inch desks with either pedestal style, and a 71 x 36 inch desk with either style, in five laminate finishes: American Dark Cherry, American Espresso, American Mahogany, Artisan Grey and Autumn Walnut. CorpDesign makes two with full pedestals and soft close drawers: a 66 x 30 inch desk with an inner curve top and a curved, stepped modesty panel, and a 72 x 24 inch rectangular desk with a modesty panel, in Blanc de Gris, Espresso, Grigio, Miele or Noce. The filters on this page narrow the list by desk width, desk depth, type of pedestals and price.

Every double pedestal desk is priced on the site and ships free: $755 to $1,010 for Offices to Go and $1,255 and $1,345 for CorpDesign. Every desk usually ships within 2-3 business days and within 10 business days at the latest.
