Conference Chairs

Conference chairs are the chairs around a meeting table: bought as a matching set, used for meetings instead of all-day desk work, and seen by every visitor who walks in. The models here come from SitOnIt Seating, 9to5 Seating, CorpDesign and AIS.

Every chair can be filtered by back size (mid or high back), back material (mesh, vinyl, fabric or plastic), seat material (fabric, mesh or vinyl), arm style (armless, fixed or multi-adjustable), frame color (black, gray, white or polished aluminum), and by tilt function, tilt lock, adjustable lumbar support and sliding seat.

Fixed arms keep a set looking uniform around the table; multi-adjustable arms suit a room where people also work for long stretches. A mid back sits lower against the table and keeps sightlines open; a high back supports the shoulders in longer meetings. Vinyl wipes clean and gives the padded boardroom look (the 9to5 Alba and Core come in nine vinyl colors), and a mesh back keeps the chair cool. Before ordering a set, compare the chair’s arm height with the underside of your table so the chairs slide in.

9to5 Seating, CorpDesign and AIS conference chairs are priced on the site, from $250 for the CorpDesign Arte to $820 for the 9to5 Cydia Midback, and can be ordered directly.
